About

The Hazlett Brothers Band is a country/americana group that comes from Central Kentucky. The band began as just The Hazlett Brothers, Simon and Thomas. The two have been playing together for about 8 years but only recently formed a band. The band originally started as a front porch duo that turned into a family garage band that played parties and events for family and friends. As they grew in their abilities and passion for music, they branched out and asked Thomas's wife Elizabeth to join to form an official band. Elizabeth grew up sharing a love for music with her mom and grandfather, playing and writing songs on piano and performing at school talent shows. They began writing original songs and currently play venues, bars, and private events in and around Kentucky. They cover favorites from bands like Tyler Childers and Garth Brooks, to Fleetwood Mac and Miranda Lambert.

Simon is the older brother who plays rhythm guitar and sings. He writes songs that are true to classic country and brings his charismatic charm to the group.

Thomas sings and alternates between playing lead guitar and drums. He writes songs in the style of folk/americana as well as southern rock. He has a rich gritty voice that helps define our southern sound.

Elizabeth is Thomas's wife who plays bass and sings lead and back-up vocals. With her bluesy yet multi-faceted vocals and ear for harmonies, she adds dynamics to the sound of the band and writes songs ranging from indie/americana to country and blues.
